What information do we collect?

Personal Information you provide to us

Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. We collect personal information when you voluntarily provided it to us through our Service or through other means. For example, we may collect personal information such as your name, address, email address and telephone number when you create an account, provide us with information to create your legal documents, communicate with us, submit a review, register to receive a newsletter, take a survey or otherwise submit personal information to us with your communication. We and/or our third party service provider also collect your credit card details when you pay for the Service. Our current third-party service provider for processing payments is Stripe, Inc. We may use “cookies” and other technologies for authentication, analytics, performance, functional and marketing purposes. We use third-party service providers, such as Google Analytics, which use cookies or other technologies to record information about you or your activity on the public sections of the Site – we do not use any third-party service providers to record information about you or your activity when logged into your account. A “cookie” is a piece of data stored on the computer hard drive or memory containing information about the user. You may modify your browser’s settings so that your browser stops accepting cookies or prompts you before accepting a cookie.

Interest-Based Advertising / Remarketing

We or our third-party advertising providers may use cookies and small pixel files (small images) to keep track of your browser so that you will be recognized when you visit other websites where our third-party advertising providers may show you advertisements from us based on your visit to our Service. Some of these advertisements may be customized to particular products and services that you viewed or they may be based on inferences about products and services that you might be interested in. Storage Outside of Canada

Although we use a third party service providers with a datacenter located in Toronto, Canada, your personal information may still be stored outside of Canada (for example through the use of content-delivery-network services). If your personal information is used or stored outside of Canada, it will also be subject to the laws of the country in which it is used or stored.

Security

We follow generally accepted standards to protect your personal information. For example, our Service is encrypted and protected SSL encryption software. However, no method of electronic transmission or Service is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or breaches of our security systems will never occur. Accordingly, you should not transmit personal information to us using our Service if you consider that information to be sensitive.

Additional Protections for Minors

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18 years and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from these individuals.
